Our New Assistant Winemaker!

Please join our family at Seven Mountains Wine Cellars in welcoming our New Assistant Winemaker! We are proud to introduce to you, Vince Nicosia. Vince is a Penns Valley native who has recently moved back to Spring Mills with his family.

Vince graduated from Penn State University in 2010 with a degree in IST. He then commissioned as an Army Officer and served on active duty for ten years which included two overseas tours, to Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Jordan. He left active duty in 2020 and is currently a Major in the Army Reserves supporting Penn State’s ROTC program. He is now focusing on his other true passion- winemaking. Upon leaving active duty Vince decided to make his winemaking hobby a career. He and his family moved to the Finger Lakes wine region in New York so he could go back to school to build his winemaking knowledge and skills. He recently graduated from Finger Lakes Community College where he completed the Viticulture and Enology program. He has spent the last two years learning from some of the best winemakers and viticulturists in the Finger Lakes wine region. He is excited to be back home in central PA joining the team at Seven Mountains Wine Cellars.

Our entire family at Seven Mountains welcomes Vince and his family home. We are excited for the future and for many more delicious wines we can share with you.

His wine of choice? A dry red.

When he’s not making wine you can find him and his wife Shannon chasing their five kids.

Please join us in welcoming Vince to our TEAM!!
